We are participating in the Giving Partner Challenge this year! Your donations will help our arts programs and in getting ART classes in our community.
By donating to The Parrish Arts Council, you will be allowing us to fulfill our mission of bringing the ARTS to the community. We are planning our Youth Workshops for 2024 and additional art activities for the community. Your donations are greatly appreciated. Since 2019, we've been able to have the youth workshops and a monthly learning workshop. Your donations allow us to continue these activities by purchasing all the supplies or the rental space as we don't have our own physical space. Sometimes they get to keep the supplies to continue doing art at home. Listed below are the programs needing funding and what we have used funds for in the past.
You may BE THE ONE to bring ARTS to the community by clicking on the Donate button from
noon April 9th to noon April 10th.

Our Mission
Parrish Arts Council (PAC) serves Parrish and the surrounding communities. PAC is dedicated to building and enriching the community through the ARTS.
2024 Programs that need funding:
Paint Around - in planning stages. We have five local artists collaborating to create five unique pieces of artwork in about 2hrs. Each artist will paint on all five paintings. The artist donate their time and supplies for the event. Raffle tickets are sold for a chance to win one of the artworks. The event is open to the public and is no charge. The artist banter back and forth (all in fun). The funding that is needed is for a location and supplies for the event. 70% of the proceeds from the raffles go to a local school.
Youth Workshops are being planned. We purchase the art supplies for the workshops and when possible the attendees get to take home some of the supplies. We will exhibiting the artwork at the Rocky Bluff Library for both workshops. Funding is needed for supplies such as paint, clay, paint brushes, paper and a location.
East2West Art Market is being planned with a focus on original artwork. This is a 2-day indoor event for artists to exhibit and/or sell their artwork. The planning and prep work is done by all volunteers and sponsors. Artists can demo during the event. We are working to bring local artwork to our community. There is truly something for everyone from skilled crafters to fine art artists. This is a huge event that can't happen without sponsorships, donations and volunteers. The funding that is needed is to help with the location, advertising, awards and setup for the participants.
General & Operating funding would be used to bring art & history to the community. We want to be able to give back to the community and to collaborate with the community. We do have the basic operations needs that would include accounting software, Social Media & website, insurance, and general supplies for our activities. We would really love to find a physical space so we are more present and offer classes.
2018 - 2023 Benefited Programs
Youth Exhibitions is about doing Youth Workshops with different mediums and then exhibiting them.
Artfully Angles is where we create greeting cards for a local nursing home. The cards are created by artist and non-artist and then donated. The donations help us purchase supplies so that anyone can attend and create. We are hoping to expand to a Veterans home or for soldiers during the holidays.
Artist Exhibits at the Rocky Bluff Library. There are 6 art wall exhibits that are on display for 2 months at at time. This is open to artist belonging in the art groups north of the river.
Paint Arounds - 5 artist collaborate to create 5 unique pieces of artwork with the artwork being raffled off at the end of the night. The proceeds go to a local North River's school for their art or music department.
Photography Contest is used as a fundraiser, inviting the community to participate and 2 months exhibition at the Rocky Bluff Library.
Plein Air Activities now includes all mediums and sites throughout the surrounding counties.
Art Education classes are planned throughout the year in our ArtConversations! program.
Capturing Historic Parrish is all about capturing the history of Parrish through painting, drawing and photography.
Murals working with the Ellenton Outlet Mall to update their Manatee statues.
This Old House book by Iris McClain. We have worked with this program for the last 5 years. The book proceeds all go towards youth art workshops.
Art Center is still trying to find a home. The art center would be art opportunities to the community with classes, education, history, shopping and a gallery.
