We are participating in the Giving Partner Challenge this year!  Your donations will help our arts programs and in getting an Art Center in Parrish.  By donating, you will help us with our mission to bring arts, culture and heritage to our community!

By donating to The Parrish Arts Council, you will be allowing us to fulfill our mission of bringing the ARTS to the community.  In 2019 we were able to purchase all the supplies that were used in our Holiday’s Youth Exhibition.  The youth used acrylic paints to paint a subject that meant holidays to them.  In another workshop we purchased clay and ornaments were created.  In 2020, we purchased colored pencils and supplies for an art kit for the Holiday’s Youth Exhibition where they got to keep all supplies.  This allowed them to continue with art.

Our Mission

Parrish Arts Council (PAC) serves Parrish and the surrounding communities.  PAC is dedicated to building and enriching the community through the ARTS.

2022 Programs that need funding:

Paint Around - is being planned for the Fall.  We have five local artists collaborating to create five unique pieces of artwork in about 2hrs. Each artist will paint on all five paintings. The artist donate their time and supplies for the event.  Raffle tickets are sold for a chance to win one of the artworks.  The event is open to the public and is no charge.  The artist banter back and forth (all in fun).  The funding that is needed is for a location and supplies for the event.  The proceeds from the raffles go to a local school.

Youth Workshops are being planned for the Summer and Fall.  We purchase the art supplies for the 3 workshops and when possible the attendees get to take home some of the supplies.  We will exhibiting the artwork at the Rocky Bluff Library for both workshops.  Funding is needed for supplies such as paint, clay, paint brushes, paper and a location.

East2West Art Market is being planned for Nov 19th and 20th with 40 - 45 artists participating.  This is a 2-day indoor event for local artists to exhibit and/or sell their artwork.  The planning and prep work is done by all volunteers and sponsors.  Artists can demo during the event.  We are working to bring local artwork to our local community.  There is truly something for everyone from skilled crafters to fine art artists.  This is a huge event that can't happen without sponsorships, donations and volunteers.  The funding that is needed is to help with the location, advertising and setup for the participants.

General & Operating funding would be used to bring art & history to the community.  We want to be able to give back to the community and to collaborate with the community.  We do have the basic operations needs that would include accounting software, Social Media & website, insurance, and general supplies for our activities.  We would really love to find a physical space so we are more present and offer classes.
