Our Mission

Parrish Arts Council (PAC) serves Parrish and the surrounding communities.  PAC is dedicated to building and enriching the community through the ARTS.

2020 Programs that need funding:

Capturing Historic Parrish is all about capturing the history of Parrish through painting, drawing and photography.  We've started with the Youngblood House and are planning 3 more plein air activities in 2018 around the historical sites.  We would like to create a table coffee book that includes the artwork along with the history for the locations. The proceeds would go towards bringing art opportunities to Parrish.

Art Center is still trying to find a home. The art center would be art opportunities to the community with classes, education, history, shopping and a gallery.  Proceeds would to back into the Art Center to offer art and history to the community.

Murals are being planned for the Fall.  The proceeds would be to help pay for the paint and material for the mural along with experts to help in the design and completion of the murals.

General funding would be used to bring art & history to the community.  We want to be able to give back to the community and to

collaborate with the community.

Programs we've had in the past are :

Winter Paint Around - 5 artist collaborate to create 5 unique pieces of artwork with the artwork being raffled off at the end of the night.  The proceeds go to a local North River's school for their art or music department.

This Old House book by Iris McClain.  She is a member of the Parrish Arts Council.  She and other members researched and captured the history of Parrish to share with others.  The book wen to publication in 2017.  Proceeds are going towards the arts for children.

Parrish En Plein Air brings artist painters together in the community to paint outdoors at present day Parrish sites.

2018 - 2019 Programs
