ArtConversations! are a membership benefit.  Members and a guest are invited to come and share their skills, techniques or to teach.  We will have a full schedule this year.  We've added a few mini classes this year along with our traditional Work with your Medium.  Feel free to bring anyone that may be interested in learning more about the arts council or joining it. The is a casual social time, get to know other members and see what our artist can create!    Thank you to the Parrish United Methodist Church for the use of the room.  We are in the the Youth Room across the road from the church and next to the Thrift Shop.  RSVP's are appreciated so we have the right setup and supplies when needed.

Artist Trading Cards (ATC's) - these are 2.5 x 3.5 mini pieces of artwork.  We have themes for each moth below and the only rules are the size of the card.  We will exchange them each month with those that bring them.  This can also include Zines.

​

Some of our activities below have a supply list.  Unless noted, you will need to have your own supplies for the activity.

​

We will have some supplies at each of our gatherings to make Artfully Angel cards if you'd like.

  • Oct 15th - Holiday Cards for Active Military Over Seas and 2 local facilities

    • Giselle and Elsa will be teaching us how to make cards using paper.  Please bring the following items if you want to participate -

      • ​​​scissors (PAC has kid scissors)

      • a glue stick (PAC will have some)

      • a green and red colored pencil or marker.

    • Bring your medium and supplies to create Holiday cards for Vets over seas.  PAC will have card stock, markers, stencils, paper, rubber stamps & ink, and a few more supplies that can be used.  You can also bring something to work on if you don't want to share.

    • ATC theme - Breast Cancer Awareness, Halloween, World Food Day, World Mental Health Day

  • November 19th - Artist Trading Cards (ATCs)

    • Bring your supplies to create an ATC.  We will have the cards for you.  You can also bring something to work on if you don't want to share.

    • ATC theme - Thanksgiving, World Kindness Day, Men Cancer (Movember)

  • Dec 3rd - Membership Holiday Party!

    • We will be at Harrison Ranch Clubhouse - 5755 Harrison Ranch Blvd.  Parrish, FL. 34212

    • Secret Santa, Holiday BINGO and potluck

    • ATC theme - Holidays

  • Jan 21, 20025 - Membership Meeting

    • This is all about you.  We'll recap 2024, preview 2025 and get feedback from you!

    • ATC theme - New Year, Resolutions, New Beginnings
