Plein Air | Beach
Where: Manatee Public Beach - 4000 Gulf Dr, Holmes Beach (At the end of Manatee Ave) We can meet at the picnic tables near the left side of the parking lot.
When: Saturday, April 25th from 9 am to noon. Stay for lunch and talk about your art.
What: Beach scenes and pine trees.
Plein Air is about leaving the four walls of your studio behind and experiencing painting, drawing, photography or any medium you want in the outdoors. The practice goes back for centuries, but was truly made into an art form by the French Impressionists.
