"Reflections" Photography Exhibition

Our 3rd Annual Photography Competition
Theme: Reflections
Submissions are May 1st - July 15th.
We are looking for interpretation of the theme and artistic merit
Reflections have more going on in the frame other types of photos. The use of a reflective surface is typically used to create an artistic echo of a scene. Reflections double the elements and colors, they are more dramatic. (source from multiple Google sites)
Media: Photography
It MUST be original work. No workshop or class work is allowed.

Submission & General Dates

Entry submissions from June 1st - July 10th

Submissions should be submitted in the following format for file name - contestant's last name, first initial, and the number of the entry (smithn001.jpg)

Max of 3 submission per artist's.

Submissions should be sent via email.

Submissions should be no bigger than 3MB

Submit artwork to with the following information:

Subject : Reflections - 2020
-
Your Name, artwork title, medium and framed size of submission(s)

Photo(s) of your artwork that you are submitting for the Call to Artists.

Attach the application form.

Accepted entries will be notified by July 24th via email.

10 - 12 pieces of artwork will be selected by a committee for the exhibition.

MAX size with fame is 16 x 20.
-
MIN size with frame is 8 x 10.

Artwork will be on display September to October.

All artwork must be wired hung ready and the frames must be in good condition and not broken or falling a part, if selected.

Parrish Arts Council may take pictures for publication on their website, Facebook or brochures for promotional use ONLY

This is a fundraiser also for our group. Entry fee donations are as - Adults - $20 per entry & Youth - $10 per entry (youth is 18 and younger)

"Holidays" Youth Exhibition

The artwork will be done by students with a focus on the Holidays from October to New Years.
